As a master’s degree project, the task for the National Cancer Institute brand redesign was to research companies and industries to find a brand that was in great need of revitalization. The idea behind the NCI identity is the cell, the basic structural and functional unit of all known living organisms. The three circles communicate the cell as it divides to create life.
